| The Volunteer High School Band is one of the most competitive and successful organizations
within the Hawkins County School System. Consisting of around 100 members annually, the
band is the largest single organization on campus at Volunteer High School and is one of the
largest school programs in Hawkins County. The Instrumental Music Department at Volunteer
offers many different performing ensembles for students to be a part of during the school day
as well as after school extracurricular activities. These ensembles include: Marching Band,
Concert Band, Jazz Band, Color Guard, Winter Guard, and Indoor Percussion. For more
